BIA Climatic temperature shock chambers are designed for demanding environmental and reliability testing across the electronics, semiconductor, automotive, aerospace and battery industries. The systems support rapid temperature transitions and repeatable test conditions, with configurations available for both air-to-air thermal shock and conventional temperature shock applications.
The temperature shock chambers can be configured to meet major international and industry-specific environmental testing standards, including:
Custom test configurations can also be developed to meet specific customer or corporate testing requirements.
Standard basket capacities are available from 80 L to 3000 L, with customized solutions and walk-in temperature shock chambers available for larger test specimens.
Available in two-zone and three-zone designs, providing flexible solutions for different sample sizes, test profiles and laboratory requirements.
Temperature shock testing can be performed from -65°C to +180°C, with pre-cooling and pre-heating zones capable of reaching approximately -80°C to +200°C, depending on configuration.
Designed for rapid movement between hot and cold zones, with basket transfer times of less than 1 minute on applicable configurations. This enables efficient air-to-air thermal shock testing and rapid temperature transitions.
The control system supports multi-step test programming, allowing users to create complex temperature cycling and thermal shock profiles for fully automated continuous testing.
The chamber can support both high/low-temperature testing and temperature shock testing. This provides greater equipment utilization and flexibility for laboratories with multiple environmental testing requirements.
Optional configurations include dry-air purge, specimen temperature control, programmable I/O, specimen power supply interfaces, load racks, multi-channel data acquisition and remote communication.
An integrated IP camera can be configured to monitor the test specimen during operation. This allows users to remotely observe product conditions while correlating visual information with temperature and test data.
